Jamie has spent her career on the cutting edge of the financial services industry. One of the first advisors to earn the Certified Financial Planner designation, she’s been helping clients make rational and responsible financial decisions for many years. Jamie knows first hand that a financial plan includes much more than a portfolio: in the “sandwich generation” the physical and emotional health of a family can have profound financial consequences.
Real life is never “plug and play,” and our clients have the dual advantage of intelligent money management and advisors who are experienced in “quarterbacking portfolios” with low cost investments, through variations in the market, and for both the planned and unplanned changes that re-shape our clients needs and goals.
Jamie’s certification in divorce financial planning (CDFA), mediation, and deep study of behavioral economics allows her to come to the table understanding that money is both a tool and a metaphor. Our decisions are never just about numbers but about our relationship to money, to our families, and our own history. Her unique ability to help clients get to the right questions allows her to tailor a financial strategy for each client’s particular goals, challenges, and values.
Jamie has roots here in D.C. and currently resides in Chevy Chase, MD. She has two adult children, as well as three trilingual grandsons (English, German and baby) and a grand-dog. She’s an expert Scrabble player and you can frequently find her in the Theaters on the weekends.
No one wants to admit what we don’t know – especially about our money. Most people are uncomfortable tackling money issues, so they wait until they can’t wait any longer. RMG helps clients work towards creating a confident environment for making important money decisions, and guide you every step of the way, so you can focus on building a life you enjoy, and a legacy of which you can be proud.
